THERE’S A NEW STAR!!!

I’M STILL COLLECTING MY COMPOSURE AFTER THE ABSOLUTE WILDEST, UNBELIEVEABLE, OUT-OF-CONTROL ROCKET RIDE EVER!!!

Last Monday evening at 6:43 pm – after a killer 40 hour journey that started with a gush and some vintage JOURNEY cranked at MACH2000 – my beautiful wife Mini gave birth to our stellar daughter while I tripped out in a mind-bending warp-athon that told me for keeps that no matter how important all of my other missions may seem, someone or something out there is holding a cosmic map that’s bigger and far more important than mine.

We’ve named her NOVA VALENTINA PEBBLES GREGORINI – and like everything else attached to yours truly, there’s a story for every one of those precious tags…but that’s for later.

I’m dedicating this post to our New Star, True Believers. I’m no stranger to altered states having consumed far more mind-altering substances than I care to discuss in this forum (well, for now!), but I gotta say that nothing has ever prepared me for the unbelievable, chaotic, terrible and beautiful trial I witnessed last Monday.  Truly, women are amazing to be able to endure such intense agony and my hat goes off to all from this moment on – the world would be vastly underpopulated if the choice was left to us guys…

You know, I never reckoned myself the DAD type – out of fear that something would get in the way of my BIG DREAM. And now, I realize how wrong I was…and my resolve to work my ass off and bring positive moments to my allies and my own tiny corner of the world has kicked up a thousand notches.  This little girl is going to grow up wise, wonderful and beautiful from the inside out – surrounded by beautiful people with noble goals and a lust for life. And she’s going to have a hell of a lot of fun on that rocket ride, I swear!

Have fun today, friends, and raise a glass to our little NOVA – and we’ll raise a few glasses back (hey, Mini hasn’t had a drop in 9 months and damned if I’m going to continue my ‘on the wagon’ ride…tonight, I’m heading downstairs into my wine cellar and pulling out one of my finest vintage bottles. Maybe a Barolo, or a Barbaresco…it’s time to shut ‘er down, reflect on how amazing my life is, and catch a buzz with my family!!!

EXCELSIOR – and have a mind-blowing day!!!
